This year, when it is time to dress up in silly outfits once again, why not make a statement?  The Keep Off the Grass costume is a funny way to deal with a somewhat serious matter.  Heck, this look may even be perfect if ever you are to attend a drug free campaign or protest against the use of cannabis.

What is Cannabis?

There has been a lot of controversy around this green plant.  Legal in some places, illegal in others- in most, actually, when used for “recreational” purposes.  On the positive, and legal, side, marijuana has been used as psychoactive drug and is used for some medicinal purposes.  Also, according to the Rastafarian way of life, this is used as part of their religion.

However, the use of cannabis, in whatever form, is actually the most widely used illicit drug in the whole world.  This fact is based on research done by the United Nations.  One reason why this is rather commonly used is that the effects do not last very long.   Also, social media is to blame.  Through movies and music, often times, the use of illegal drugs, such as this, is glorified rather than frowned upon.

Keep Off the Grass Costume

Remember, the best kind of high is a natural one- not one induced by smoking up.  The Keep Off the Grass costume will not only serve as your Halloween outfit but it will also help make a point and send a message across.

This Rasta costume, like most, is a funny one.  Although it somehow goes against the religious views of the Rastafarian lifestyle, it stays true to their not so serious take on life.

The top of this two piece costume is actually huge bright, vivid, green leaves.  They are so big that these leaves actually cover you from your hip all the way over the top of your head.  The center leaf, the one that goes over your head, has a hole where your face goes.    In the middle is a smaller, lighter colored, but basically the same shaped bundle that has the words “Keep Off the Grass” boldly printed with bright red and yellow letters.

The bottom part of this costume is a dark brown flower pot made of foam.  Throw on a pair of green tights   and a long sleeved green shirt to complete the look.

So at this year’s Halloween party, do not just have a good time, be heard and make a statement with the Keep Off the Grass costume.  Who knows this outfit may even be the start of a historic movement.
